Model '98, new frame "WD-300-HD-Fs"


  • Left buggy:
    standard buggy with new frame and (option) 'Long John' rear-axle with variable height (ground clearance), Big Foot wheels with 4 bolt hub system, Competition front fork with standard wheel, Foot straps (option).
  • Right buggy:
    standard buggy with new frame and (option) Spring Back and special semi slick (hard & high pressure) tires on alloy rims with spokes (bicycle wheels) for high speeds, competition front fork special for bicycle wheels.
  • New frame & rear-axle "WD-300-HD-Fs", available january 1998:
    Marine quality stainless steel, TIG welded & reinforced. Polished in "Chrome Image" by an elctrolytic process giving a superior finish and resistance to sea, salt and sand.
  • Wheels (top to bottom):
    - standard wheel (one bolt system)
    - "Funzi" semi slick race wheel for street use (requires the 4 bolt hub system)
    - "Mini Big Foot" wheels (requires the 4 bolt hub system)
    - "Big Foot" wheels (requires the 4 bolt hub system)
    - "Off Road" wheels (studded big foot, requires the 4 bolt hub system)
    - Right buggy: semi slick 17 inch thin tire wheels for hard surfaces or speed record events.
  • One 4 bolt hub system for 4 types of wheels.

New "TwoShoes" tandem


Tandem unit is fixed by 2 points to the rear-axle of the leading buggy. The tandem unit can move up and down independent of the leading buggy but not sideways. The passenger (instructor ?) sits close to the driver (student ?). Close enough to give a "helping" hand.
The additional passenger foot pegs are not show on the photo.
You can also use the tandem as a luggage trailer for long distance or camping trips
in the desert or along the beach.
The tandem unit can also be fixed to the "LongJohn" rear-axle.
