I had planned to learn buggy driving, some years ago, during my summer holidays. Thus, in june, with kites and buggy to La Franqui. And what a site!! At 25 degrees Celsius in the sun the wind was offshore constantly between 4 - 6 beaufort. I did not know it was the Tramontane !!! For a beginner from the cold North this part of South France with its wind, wine and sun together with kite and buggy was too much. Soon the muscle's of leggs and stomach started to feel painfull. A closer look and talk with the buggy driving french learned they all had A Spring in the Back, bought or home made. So I rushed to Montpellier to buy one "Spring Back" .
And really the difference was ENORM. More comfort and easy driving. No pain in the back, leggs or stomach. With ease I could drive for houres !! You sit a little backwards like in a very comfortable couch. And learning to drive was much more easy.
